I'm a huge fan of the recent revamp SHIELD got in the pages of Secret Warriors but the only SHIELD agent made for Marvel Universe is...well...

So I decided to convert the best GI Joe figures in my collection into SHIELD specialists!
This is the first of my squad but several more are on my workbench.

Stalker here is one of the best figures ever made from the GI Joe line and converting him was a challenge of mostly painting.
His new gear is made from the harness Steve Rogers wears like a bra for some reason with a Punisher holster and gun attached. The American flag and SHIELD emblems are custom waterslide deacals made on a laser printer.

I used dark blue Duplicolor automotive spray paint for plastic -amazing stuff- dries perfect for a basecoat and takes acrylic great. Over that I just added on some darker blue and then a few coats of titianium white for the rest.

His weapons come from the Bottomless Parts Bin- I think his rifile is an Aliens pulse rifile and all his holstered guns are removable...though I did not notice his missing boot knife until after I'd taken these pictures- doubtlessly a victim of the Carpet Monster.
