I've been wanting to make a Zarathos figure for quite a while now. While I like the IDEA of the character, his artistic portrayal always seemed to leave me cold. I pictured a Zarathos with a more 'horror' bent to his design, so I decided to go ahead and make one, while still keeping the basics of his original 'Midnight Sons' design (which you can see in the illustration below.)

THIS Zarathos is presented in a 'fallen angel' type form, complete with wings of fire. I created the blue flames themselves from hot glue, a few blue shades and some clear blue from Tamiya. Craft chains from Jo Anne fabrics round out the figure.
