Heroes Assembled: Custom Action Heroes presents --- MISTER FREEZE!

This figure is made from a Neca David, a DC Collectibles Arkham City Mr. Freeze Head, with a collar made from a Jakks WWE wrestler's knee brace. Ever since that David figure was released, I knew it'd make a pretty cool (no pun intended) Freeze.

I reversed the blue/black color scheme, and painted the stripes in the suit's pattern to look like they 'light up'. Also gave the figure a nice metallic sheen, which I then covered with some dry-brushing and some splatters of white here and there to give it a 'frosted' look.

Backpack is made from an Unreal Tournament figure's backpack, two Omega Red tentacles and some hot glue icicles.

I used a Marvel Legends Iron Man base, and painted it to look like Freeze had 'melted' his way through it. The 'freeze-ray' is bendy-wire sculpted over with hot glue and painted. It's fully poseable and can stick in the end of Freeze's blaster.

Gun is from a random Spawn figure, with hoses attached and hot glue icicles. Everything else is from fodder.

Feel free to check out more pics on my Heroes Assembled Facebook page, and check out the auction on ebay if you're interested!

Enjoy!

A very, very clever use of the David base figure, the Arkham City Freeze head looks good on it. The backpack and freeze gun are also really badass!

Yeah I have to echo the thought on that base figure! What a great idea for the david figure! Plus your mods and paints are superb! Great idea, and excellent work!

Thanks guys

I know it may be a silly little thing, but my favorite part of this figure is the collar. I think it's because it hints that there is an under suit beneath the cryo-armor. Not sure, but I love that part of this figure. I'm easily amused, lol.
