My 1st attempt at customizing a figure. I used some techniques I learned here and learned a lot on the Hulked Out Captain America. For one I sculpted with clay from walmart, not fun and took 24hrs to dry!! I will be reading more tutorials to find out what clays work better for my next figure.
Great first custom... I too have fought the walmart clay and it kept on breaking apart. Although the Aves seems pricy it goes a long way. You can see some of the customs I have done with the aves if you checkout my profile. Just make sure you used the proper proportions or it could become fragile.
Hey thanks for the info. I've been reading the forums and racking my brain trying to figure out what to use. The WM clay was horrible to use and no way possible to do small fine detail. I was looking for zubber but no one sells it any more. I was going to order green stuff but the aves sounds like a better deal. Thanks again.
