So I was just going through my personal collection of action figures and came across an extra Dark Night Movie Masters Heath Ledger Joker. I think we can all agree that the original factory paintjob for this figure was awful and had no detail whatsoever. What I did was carefully open the figure with a scalpel, I then took the figure and painted his face with fresh paint and made him resemble Heath Ledger. I added a black wash to the whole figure to give it a shadowy tone. I then painted his vest buttons gold and repainted his hair to look more realistic. Next, I thought it be awesome to paint ha ha ha ha all over the Joker evidence card and splatter red paint on it to resemble blood. Finally, I repacked the figure and carefully resealed it using a special glue and voila a factory released custom Heath Joker. Let me know what you all think. Enjoy!!
This is awesome! The Mattel paint job didn't do Heath justice for this MM figure, you did a great job with the eyes too.. I also dig the paint job on the cards, it makes it even cooler as a 'replica' joker card.
Thanks bro. I was actually pretty bummed and upset when this figure hit stores, Heath did an epic job with this role, they could've at least gotten this paint job right and added more clash and detail to the whole figure you can't see it in the picture but I also added blood to the knife he has in his hand. After all its a MM Figure. I got tired of seeing a figure without detail and lack of clash so I decided re make this figure for myself.
