In the 3.75" Injustice line, we're getting a two-pack of Superman and Nightwing (as of this writing, it's due out next month). However, the versions used are the non-Regime ones. While the previous figures' having been seemingly randomly either the standard Injustice or the Regime/Insurgency versions didn't bother me, THIS pack kind of does. Not only is that version of Nightwing (SPOILER ALERT)... DEAD by the time the game takes place, but the Regime version of Superman is the antagonist. Why does is cartoonier Mattel 6" Superman the Regime version but not this one?
Anyway I noticed that the standard Man of Steel Superman was pretty close, and set out to give him a darker coat of paint on his costume and then do some minor sculpting. I'm actually pretty proud of the logo, as I've tried to do it before and it looked nowhere even close to as good as this one.
Very nice. If I recall correctly, the Injustice figures being released are all their default costumes. While that's not bad for some, I wish each pack came with an alternate with their other costumes. Nightwing especially. But, that aside, I do like this figure. He came out great and nice choice of the movie Superman figure!
