Here is my version of a masterpiece Skyfire. The base body is a TRU MP Thundercracker with additional parts from Cybertron Voyager Starscream, Vector Prime, Optimal Optimus, and others. The wings and jet pack are made from Optimal Optimus, Armada Jetfire, and G1 Jetfire parts. The red arm armor pieces detach and stow under the cockpit in jet mode. The G1 Jetfire helmet is hollow and fits snugly over the enlarged Classics Jetfire head (he can actually wear the helmet!). The head can stow inside while in jet mode. Unfortunately, I didn't devise a way to stow the G1 Jetfire helmet in jet mode. The G1 Jetfire gun attaches to both the jet and robot modes in several places (maybe I'll get the upcoming Daca toys upgrade for the gun). It was airbrushed with primarily Testors Pactra metallic paints. This is my first attempt at the G1 cartoon style shading. I primarily chose the darker shadow color patterns based on the jet mode. The panel lining was done with a Gundam gray marker (also my first time to do this!). I added a few custom water slide decals to add a few accents from the G1 Jetfire toy and a Robotech nod. The stand was modified to hold Skyfire in both modes. I used Tamiya snow texture paint for the base with a little airbrushing to make it look realistic snow drifts. The name plate is a water slide decal.
