The origin of the Lotus Kings begun when two universe merge together.And when the two universe was separated remnants from each universe was left behind in the other.What was known as a Brood was one of the things that got left in this universe.This Brood wander the loneliness of space until it happen upon the inhabit planet of velvet 5.Velvet 5 was a peaceful planet the inhabitants are vegetarian fun loving.The Brood landed in the Castle where the King was enjoying his meal the Brood planted an egg in him.During the night the King change into a Brood who was now linked to Brood.Then the Brood start to infect the other inhabitants the rest of the planet.The king may have been turn into a Brood he still was aware of things that was going around him.When his last subject was turn the king went crazy and killed the Brood that turned him.As he looked around he notice that he was the King of an insect race now. With a big problem.Since him and his subjects are vegetarian they now have a huge hungry for Vegetation. He send scouts out to find other planets that are cover with Vegetation.When a scout find a planet were the kings and his subject could feed the scout sends out a pheromones scent to bring them to that planet. Most planet inhabitants sees the insect creatures as a wonder.After the scouts leave in about 2 to 3 days the planet skies blacken out for the King and his millions of subjects come to feast. After they feast they leave the planet with no Vegetation on it at all. Most of the inhabitants dies off because there is nothing for the animals to eat. The planets that had space transportation left their planet and warn other planets about what most now call the Lotus invasion. The Green Lanterns and Blue Lanterns corps went out to stop this problem. It was a bloody war Many Green and blue Lantern lost their lives in that war.But the Lanterns eradicate all of the Lotus. Most of the Lotus laid down their live so that the king would survive.The Lotus King still both fear to other planets he still had to ravage other planets with Vegetation. By the time a Green lantern or blue lantern find out what planet he is on he would be long gone before they get there. One day while on a planet the inhabitants was so afraid of him that Sinestro corps ring found him and welcome him to the corps. Now armed with a power ring the Lotus King spread greater fear to the universe.
