2000 Back in the 90s Moore Action Collectibles was making some really nice figures for Lady Death, Witchblade and others, and while they had limited articulation, the sculpts were beautiful. I picked up the Purgatory figure just to make this custom. I like the Phoenix costume for Jean Grey the best, and this seemed to suit her well. I had to carve off all the details, take the wings off, and take her breasts down about 3 cup sizes, Just sanded them down until they looks a little more normal. Build up the boot tops and glove tops with sculpy, and paint it up. This is the first time I really used several coats of a thinned down paint to build up color and I loved the results. The emblem on her chest and her belt are both cut from sign vinyl. ![]() |

A lot of odd but cool figures were around at the time.
I ended up using the Medieval Witchblade on a Black Widow. (coming soon)
