Sometimes I just make a custom for fun and Taskmaster was one of those. A couple of weeks ago I went to a local comic book convention, and picked up several Marvel Legends figures. Taskmaster was one of the ones that I bought. He was missing his gun and sword, and the paint wasn't in the best shape either. So I decided he need a little fixing up and updating. An this was an opportunity for me to use some of the cool castings that bought from Casting Cave. For the hood I hollowed out one of the DCUC Desaad hood cast, and used his Angry Skull cast for the head. Instead of just painting costume straps back on like the original I used styrene strips on the costume details to make them look more like actually straps. The new gun came from my old Marvel Legends Nick Fury and the swords are also from Casting cave. Then finally a full paint job. Let me know what you all think.

Nice update. The fixes you made make a world of difference, especially a much better head and the eyes you painted on there are excellent. Nice work!

Thanks I really like how the eyes turned out as well. I originally just made this one for fun, and sold him on ebay. But now I'm wanting to make another for my shelf

Thank you very much It took a lot of grinding on the Desaad hood, but the end result was well worth it

Awesome! Love the eyes!! Amazing what some simple (seeming) changes can do to work wonders for a figure! Great stuff!

Thank you very much I really liked how the eyes turned out as well. I already ordered another head for another for myself, but next time I'm going to use a Bucky Cap body.
