Sandtrooper repaint.
He sports a hand painted paint job. The figure was painted using only the best Citadel primer, and was hand painted using Citadel, Model Masters, Formula P3 and other high quality paints. There is a ton of detail to the sculpt so repainting, dry brushing, washes, and advanced paint techniques were done to make the line work pop. Some areas are glossy,some flat and some are metallic. The colors are different shades of blacks, gunmetals, grays, chrome and silver. The black areas of the armor are glossy black and the under suit is dull to mimic a fabric instead or armor plating.

He was given a heavy black wash and small amounts of dry brushing to make the suit look more lived in and not pristine. I always believed in a lived in universe and not one where things look like they came off the assembly line, just like George Lucas envisioned. This trooper looks like it’s been through some battles and lived to tell about it.

He still needed weapons!! He is equipped with the standard stormtrooper rifle, the BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle. He needed a heavy weapon so he also has a DLT-19 blaster rifle for longer shots and more power. Lastly, he is equipped with a thermal detonator to throw at any rebel groups, when a single shot wont do and you need a fragmentation grenade. traight repaint of a Sandtrooper.


If you don't know what a shadow trooper is:

The shadow troopers were an elite squadron within the Imperial stormtroopers who were assigned an experimental cloaking armor. This allowed them to disappear in any environment. These soldiers were trained to use their advanced technology to ambush their enemies who they often surrounded before they were capable of defending themselves. They typically acted as reserve units that backed up standard stormtrooper squadrons and only appeared when a battle turned against the Empire.

During such conditions, stormtrooper commanders often called the shadow troopers to provide them with reinforcements. In addition to their cloaking devices, the armor was laced with durasteel fibers which made them more resistant to physical as well as energy attacks when compared to standard stormtrooper armor.
