This figure of Conan was inspired by the story Pool of the Black One, but what I really wanted to do was make a figure that could fit into any of the "Conan archetypes" (pirate, adventurer, soldier/mercenary, thief, etc.). The base figure was the LCBH Conan with armor from McFarlane's Beowulf, boots from McFarlane's Prince Dastan, hands from NECA's Perseus, and the girdle from NECA's Pit Fighter Conan. The sword is from the DCUC Hawkman figure with a homemade sheath and sword belt, and the pants are made from a Dragon Models 1/6 scale Attila the Hun shirt.
