Vercingetorix. Some Mcfarlane series and characters are great to convert into real historical heroes,so I thought Skifell would be easy to turn into the courageous Gaul..Many Gauls used axes and had large moustaches, which also helps:) I was thinking of replacing horns on helmet with eagle or raven wings ,but in the end decided against it.. Oil paint on acrylic base,finished with glossy and matt varnish.The base is still missing grass and bushes, which I will buy shortly.Other pending projects-conversion of Bluetooth,Conan of Cimmeria and others.Please feel free to comment!:)
Thanx alfonsovaldezv! I think this figure gives good impression of average Gaul warriors, as Ceasar wrote about them that "they are usually of large posture, with terrifying and gloomy look in their eyes, fierce warriors, always disdainful of death"..Thats Skifell/Vercingetorix allright!
