Remember "Mutant X"? The comic starring Havok, NOT the terrible show. That was a great story, and I wanted to do a custom of one of it's most striking characters in Marvel Universe form...The Fallen, Warren Worthington, III aka Angel aka Archangel of that alternate reality. I was intimidated by the line work on his costume, but figure "what the heck", and just went for it with a very thin brush. The base figure is an MU Quicksilver. The head is from an MU Sentry, the wings are from a GI Joe Nemesis Enforcer. The custom base is from a Marvel Superhero showdown Invisible Woman, with custom made "lava rocks"to cover the big "4" on the base. Initially, I was going to settle on giving him a regular stand, but the wings were begging for him to be in a "flying" pose.
