I can't repaint this figure enough, it's such a cool base to work with. For this one I tried something different, along the lines of my Tarpit figure, with the reverse dry brushing. I base coated it white and then a coat of ice blue then dry brushed black and silver to give it the look of glowing blue from within.Finished off with a dry brush of white for the frosty look. I also attached a DC Direct Cyborg gun arm in place of his left hand so he could shoot freeze rays!
Thanks NeCro! I really did have fun with this one, I knew the inner heat thing worked pretty well, so I figured it would work for cold too. I love to tinker.
Nice frosty paint apps! I just wish he had a clear helmet instead of this pink one. I'll never understand who at DC approved that colour scheme back in the day, and who thought it would be a good idea to release Mr Freeze looking like that for the Batman Legacy line.
Thanks Jedd! Yeah, the paint scheme on that figure is horrendous and that purple helmet is awful, I thought about trying to fix that, I just decided to leave well enough alone.
