I was digging through my fodder bin looking for some inspiration when I saw my Freak figure that had been laying around for years, and I decided he'd make a cool Joker. Cut off the hair and sculpted a new do, painted it up and added some weapons that fit the madness of this hardcore Joker.
Thanks StrangePlanet! I always wanted to do something with that figure! they aren't much for articulation, but those McFarlane figures have cool sculpts. I was glad to get rid of that awful hair though, sculpted hair always looks better to me.
Thanks OJJ, great minds think alike eh? Thanks too for the Hostel figure, that's where the chainsaw came from, and Vlad's new machete, and Pyg's apron, and I've got an idea running through my head to use that cool helmet. That figure was a real boon for me, you rock!
HA! And thanks for the compliment, I had a had time deciding whether to go with the all over white or the face paint, I don't know it just seems a little crazier to get up and paint makeup on your face everyday... unless of course you are a lady....
You're very welcome! The face paint thing is really interesting; that too me was one of the many things I really loved about Heath Ledger's interpretation of the character in The Dark Knight. He didn't fall into a vat of chemical waste; he's just completely nuts. And the frightening part is, it seemed like somebody like that actually could exist in real life. Perhaps it's akin to how some find psychological horror movies like Se7en scarier than movies about supernatural terrors like ghosts or vampires.
what a maniac! looks insane xysma im diggin ur vision for this guy! joker has always been nuts but u managed to push his insanity to a whole new level!
Thanks scorpio13! I had so much fun with this one, and my McDonaldland stuff, I'm kind of thinking about doing more post-apocalyptic super heroes and villains. We'll see if I go anywhere with that.

Frightening, gnarly look for Joker that does fit the character pretty well.
