Warrior Alena (Original) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:53215
Name:Warrior Alena
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Original
Creator:loosecollector
Date Added:August 31, 2013
Base Figure:MLs
Height:6.00 inches
This one is an original. Unlike the usual requests with sketches and pics, the client just had these simple instructions.

- make me a female elf warrior
- red themed costume
- matching weapons
- blonde hair, elf ears
- the rest of the details... freestyle!

"Freestyle" is a nice word :). The recipe goes...

- Trish head
- Charmed body
- Hope knee-down and wristbands
- TB Elektra arms
- Hasbro Elektra hands

Placed the parts together. Reshaped the body and added "curves" where needed. Sculpted armour/costume parts and other details. Fitted the head and given elf ears. Then the usual paintjob followed. Metallic, semi-metallic, worn-metal and matte where needed. Added appropriate weapons to finish the look. She doesn't have a name yet, so we went for "Alena" for now :).

Hope you like her guys! God bless.

I must say, this one is quite brilliant. From which figure did you get that head?

Thanks so much for that compliment on the Tanks and Boogs, haha!!! As a sidenote, another reason I particularly liked this one is that my Daughter's name is Aleena Very close! I know that was the customers name choice, but sweet nonetheless!

Wow, this is really great you've given this original character a lot of character, look wise! I really love the small details, like the stitches holding the little pieces of metal onto her waistcloth, and the stitching on her top! I also love the way you outline the different parts, like the subtle line at the tops of the boots where they meet the skin, so the shadows really subtlely make the figure look drawn. So cool!

Thank you brother . I cannot take credit for the stitches and metal plates though. They are already there. I only highlighted them using the paintjob so they get noticed more . Also... you make the meanest TG & Booga figs .

A person can tell you to "freestyle" and know they will get something spectacular. This is gorgeous.

Wow this is wicked! Between the skin tones, the way the ears look, and the way you executed the clothing is what really makes this figure awesome to me. MINT!

"Freestyle"; those are nice words to hear. I had a client who constantly wanted me to make changes as I was going along, the worst, being a change back to something I originally done. Sorry, I didn't mean to "rant" on your post. Great custom, I like it "a lot". (voice of Lloyd Christmas)

Thank you guys !

On clients: Once a part (say a headsculpt or paintjob) is finally approved by them, any changes done on that area later on must be charged. It's only fair, because customizers have families and other matters to give their time to. It's best to make that clear before we start anything.
