A 14 by 21 inch ABS plastic sheet was painted with quality enamels to begin the ocean look. The more complex part was to create a wave and foam effect around Namor and the board that is emerging from the water. This was accomplished with a thick mixture of white and blue enamles and clear expoxy glue, very messy, btw. This was very time consuming and the epoxy was not mixed in equal parts, which slowed drying time to over 3 days. At that point, Krazy Glue was used, and that is what the greenish color is. Some water effect on namor was applied in light blue and clear epoxy. The Ice formation was sculpted and layered with Spakle Where the Surfer is afixed. This is to create an effect of him being thrusted or knocked out the ocean by Namor's verocity. This is why the board is emerging from the Artic Ocean. The placement for Surfer in this setting was the most difficult part.
