When I made my STAS Clark Kent I had parts left over from mattel JLU Gentlemen Ghost. I also had some TNBA Two Face arms from when I made my Riddler. So my decision to make this figure was because of those parts I had lying around. As like all JLU figures, they are too small to actually fit in with the Kenner line. So I cut the Gentlemen Ghost figure in half. That allowed me to make his Waist/Abdomen taller. It also enabled me to do a proper job sculpting his sports coat. The legs were still too short, so I cut the feet off & extended them at bottom of his pants. I also bulked them up a bit. I used the Gentlemen Ghost arms on Clark Kent, so I decided to use the Two face arms that I had laying around from when I made the Riddler. The right arm was fine. But the left I had to replace the hand & cut it to straighten it. I also made the shoulders wider on the Gentlemen Ghost jacket before I inserted the arms. The Gentlemen Ghost figure is pretty small. Luckily I really didn't have to make this figure the same height as the Kenner TNBA figures. Because Jason Blood is actually shorter & not as stocky as Bruce Wayne. So this combination worked perfectly. I used a a cast of the SDCC Flight Suit Hal Jordon head which I got from Stew's Customs & resculpted the hair. Then I painted the figure, glued & sealed up the 2 halves, & covered the seem with apoxie. Please wait... |
