I really love the game Skullgirls, and would love to have action figures, especially in my favorite 3.75 scale. I really wanted to start work on someone from the game, but I'm running low on female figure fodder and can't afford more for a while. However, I did have a Mystique torso lying around, and decided to go for Double.

Since Double is amorphous, I used several different pieces of art from the game to work on her, although she's primarily based on her idle standing sprite. Other than the Mystique torso, the stand is from a Happy Lesson figure and the foremost tendrils are from a Fast Forward Leonardo. All the rest is sculpted or plastic scraps from various figure packages. I had a tough time getting the tendrils to stay in place, but I figured I'd sculpt blobs around the ends to make it work, making the stand look more like a big glob of nastiness.

I especially like how her back-mouth and crown turned out.
