And here's my new Blaze custom! The very first custom I did was Jonny Blaze, and since then I made an armored version of the character, but now finally I have my ultimate one, in his regular clothes, executed much better than the first one I made. I used the upper body of ML Angel and the lower body, hands and head from ML4 Punisher. Collar from Longshot and coat from Gambit. I made the long hair with a glue gun, a bit of an experiment, but I really liked it, as it looks good enough, and it wasn't as much hassle as sculpting Frank Drake's hair, for example. It was easy and fun. I did sculpt lots of strands of hair on top of his head though. Of course things like sunglasses and a cigarette would be nice to have removable, but that's tought if you want it to look good and not fall off, so I sculpted them and they're not removable. I also printed the Spirits of Vengeance logo and put it on the belt as usual. It was a lot of fun painting the figure! I even drybrushed the coat to make it a bit more dynamic. Unfortunately, I don't have a shotgun for him, but I'll get one sooner or later. Is it the last Johnny Blaze I make? Possibly, because I'm very happy with it! It's too bad about the camera and lighting though, the pictures don't come out as clear as I would have wanted, but maybe I can fix that sometime. ![]() |
