Sometimes I just like to have fun and cut loose with a silly project/weird concept, and this project definitely fits the bill! This set answers the question "What If Mario and Luigi stopped using power up items and decided to use mech suits to battle the forces of King Bowser, instead?" Initially I wanted to give them guns, etc. but for Mario I thought it would be more heroic if used a sword and note his Spiny shell shield. Luigi comes armed with an upgraded version of his weapon seen in "Luigi's Mansion". The heads are from Knex Mario Kart figures.
