I knew I wanted to enter this contest ever since I saw the announcement. I'm a big jokester at heart and love custom figures.. So for the next few days I was racking my brain trying to come up with a solid idea. Then out of the blue some friends of mine called and asked me if I wanted to check out the seasonal Halloween store across town. I went with them and while I was browsing I came across this Alien doll/figure. We all had a good laugh at him but something about this thing was so ugly it held my interest longer then the rest of my pals. Then while starring at the thing it hit me like a ton of whoopee cushions. What if Superman was an "alien-alien"? Like a 'real' Grey weird alien. Like all the circumstances of Superman's origins were pretty much the same he just happened to look like a "Space" Alien from Area 51. The seed was planted and a few dollars later the Alien was purchased. I sculpted an outfit for him with Aves Apoxie sculpt. His belt is styrene and his cape is a foam material.
I gotta tell you when he was completed it was a bit freaky looking at him. Thanks for checking it out!!!
