Hey ladies and gents, finally got around to doing this guy and he was a blast. I've always loved Ares and kind of wish I still had my Sentry to build the Dark Avengers. This guy is quite a bit bigger and more imposing than the BAF version of Ares. Anyway recipe as follows
Head and Weapons: BAF Ares
Torso, groin, legs-BAF Terrax
Arms- Piledriver
Forarms-Baf Terrax
Left Hand-ROML Thor

Sculpted left arm wrap, right arm band, chest plate, skull symbol, lower legs, and feet. Used Conan sword sheeth shortened for the knife sheath. Chest plate was sculpted over Terrax chest piece. It is removeable but you have to pop off Arms. Elbow pads were Heman fodder. Handaxe is shortened fodder axe I had laying around. A lot of people give him a huge axe, but I see him wielding a hand axe and sometimes turret gun in the comics, so I added the turret too.
Gave him a glossy chest plate and helmet, glowing eyes, took a new approach on skin tones thanks to Stevid, and matte color combos and semi rough chromed out his boots.
