Ey.. Dude. Now I know where you coming from..So it was a personal art statement. That would make your work adorable..You know few years ago, there was this odd artist who has strong belief in Christ and made a sculpted Christ sunk in to a big glass full of Urine.People and the Vatican thought it was desecration.. But when he told the media during Interview that he is expressing how people are treating Christ at present ,then he gained Respect.. Anyways, the issue (Or my issue) is actually, not your Idea of the Chirst. Infact I admired for the brave Aproach. it's how you did it for Figure realm's customizing sake..We are here in a Customizing forum.When Customizing something or someone, try a litte research.Look for a picture (Comics,books,movies,Internet). Then play your imagination with it.Get the most trade remarkable items in your model's costume and make sure it's there. You may do a little twist and imagination, it doesn't have to be exact.But try remove or hide what is not supposed to be there.. Like for Christ, he never wore brief (Especially a Namor signature undies). It's like a Superman with a Green cape, A wonderwoman with flower sign on her head band instead of star..so what do you do? Color Sperman's cape with red,remove the flower and make it a star for Diana's head band. Spend some time doing your masterpiece, sanding, would help..Ey..Have a secret to tell... I also did a sculpted Christ and I displayed it in one of my exhibits. IT's a Christ with over grown crown of Torns and covering his whole body and I still keep him and hanged inside our Bath room...Thanks and keep it up!

Instead of just saying it can you point this customizer in the right direction as to how to make it "a little bit realistic" with better methods/techniques that you know of ?
I could say..."make it get up & walk" but unless I know how to do that and supply the info on how to do it that might not happen/help.
Keep in mind that everyone here is at a different skill level so maybe this is the best he can do and to him it is realistic.
I'm only saying this because about 3 months after I started customizing I had finished my 4th custom ever and the first response was "next time make it look real" ...needless to say that did'nt help me out...at all.

You are very brave to take this one on, it's hard to imagine but considering, this leans towards being quite accurate.
I appreciate evryones comments...I knew this one would bring controversy however let me plead my case.. 1st (and I'm sorry if this offends people) my customs are my own personal views and beliefs...I had a lot of faith when I was younger and as I got older I lost it. I don't know if I believe in jesus however I go off what the bible said. Christ was whipped dragged and beaten within an inch of his life. I even have a whole in his side which fits a spear...you can't see it bad picture taking my bad. 2nd I don't know what christ looked like I've never met him just as I've never met captain america or the punisher I can only make what I believe they look like. Thank you for looking at my customs I make them mostly for you guys. I enjoy the process very much but its people like kyle robinson doc nightmare wylnn and transtorture and even cuztomiza 2 that make me make customs. Thanks again. It's just MY OPINON & WHAT am I actually seeing.If you can make it GET UP AND WALK then so be it..I would respect that.When I was new here, I also got NASTY ,HONEST, REAL FACE SMACKING CRITICKING feedbacks but I take it constuctively. geesh! If this is your own art statement then I would probably accept it.. But for customizing sake (And for Christ's sake)... there are thousands and maybe million version Christ painitings and photos..I'm not sure if there any of them who wear underwear (Especially the undeniably Namor brief).You could do away with the smudgy paint and the wooden cross but make it a little bit realistic especially when you are customizing an icon or person who existed and historically known by most of the people..But still I admire your attempt.. (we all started that way)Good luck.

HOnestly, to me, it's a bit ghastly. I made a Christ figure awhile back but it was a peaceful looking figure. I don't know why anyone would WANT a crucified Jesus figure. As far as the paint apps and the cross, you did great. Just not something I would want to have around the house.

You should have sanded down namors seaquin binki briefs.

Your right Jesus would have been pretty rough looking on the cross.
