I have to admit, the Edward Kenway action figure that McFarlane released was a bit of a let down in my book. No sheith for his swords and no guns. like in the game teaser. But my bigest complant was no ab crunch! And the lack of leg movement. So I decided to take a wack at it. And i doo mean literally. I started by pulling the figure apart at the torso. Then cut out the ball peg conected to his waist. And molded a custom ab joint. Then started on the plastic around his waist. cuting off the red cloth-looking stuff and replacing with actuall cloth. (to allow for ab movement) after that was done I rebuilt his hip joint so his legs can actually move. then i started the strapping. It took me 3 times to get it right but practice makes perfect.(or as my teacher used to say perfect practice makes perfect) then i picked up the haytham figure and decided I liked the sword that came with him better, than the one's Edward came with. Then after stripping a conor of his holsters,cuting off the front of Edwards skirt thing ( i forget the name sorry) and replacing with some pices from assasins creed revalations Ezio's robe. A little paint (a lot of paint) later and I had a great Edward kenway action figure. But when one of his bandoler straps broke, his hood wood not stay on anymore. So I went back to Haytham and stoll a hat. (did some painting) and wala.he was finished. (For about a week) until i got tired of losing his hidden blades. So I customizes then attached the ones from Ezio on to his arm. Then custom cut the blades off the ones that came with Edward and now he looks great!
