Etrigan is a demon of Hell, first appearance 1972 in Demon #1, created by Jack Kirby. He was punished by Merlin and bonded to a human named Jason Blood. He is a rhyming demon and leader of the Demon Knights. He has had involvement with the Justice League and had a cameo in the Sandman by Neil Gaiman. For this character I decided to use a MoTU figure as the base because it seemed obvious. I sculpted the head from apoxie and painted it with acrylic. I trimmed and crimped fabric for his cape. The legs are glued in to make the figure stand easily for display.
I can't say that I've ever seen a classic MOTU figure used as a base for the Demon, which actually looks pretty good, and I like the tattered fabric cape you made for him. Your head sculpt is nice, but, proportionately, it's a wee bit on the big side for the body, but, overall, I feel that this is a solid Demon custom. I'm kind of confused about the need to glue the hips in place though, as, in my experience, classic MOTU figures stand pretty well--maybe the rubber cable in the hip joints on yours was starting to wear out?
