Saw the Cure play live in Deutchland once. Trippy, industrial and bitter cold that night. He was floating above the audience, in astral form - there were unicorns, coulda sworn. That was a different time, a different life. Tried to recapture his likeness from memory of that night in concert. Made him from a Twilight Edward base, faux dolls hair, trimmed & teased. Resculpted the sneakers, got the 1:8 scale '72 Telecaster from Fender Guitar Collection, added the strap from vinyl. Took the last shot with the figure upside down, then reinverted the pic right side up to give the illusion he's floating. Can someone please help him down from the ceiling? Look out, it's Friday! Thanks for checking this out.
I love the cure. Saw them in Barcelona in 2008, and it was one of the greatest gigs I ever attended. You did a fantastic job here, it looks just like him. Kudos
I'm very familiar with Robert Smith's face(I have it tattooed on my hand)and I gotta say I'm slightly offended by your use of a sparkly vampire's head as a suitable replacement. But I do like the work you've done with the hair. Kudos.
