Let me start off by saying I have nothing but the utmost respect for Casimir's sculpt. He actually was sitting on my shelf since I bought the cast from Stew. I mentioned before that I used to customize in the late 90's. I was digging through some boxes of parts from back then & I found the Mr Myxzptlk that I was sculpting back then. I thought when I quit doing this in the late 90's, I threw out all the unfinished projects. Apparently I was wrong & I figured it was time to finish him.

Most of the small figures started out as the same figure back then. It's how I would get some articulation for them. I would just cut, chop, & alter it how I needed it to be. For Mr Myxzptlk I cut the arms shorter & the legs to basically stumps. Then this figure is pretty much all sculpt over the Marvel's Most Wanted figure base. I remember buying a bunch of that series bitd from ToysRus because they were marked down to 99 cents. I was actually going to make my BabyDoll out of one of these before I went another route. But this would have been a good base also. So Myx here needed a lot of work because I feel my sculpting skills have improved. I liked the facial expression I gave him back then. IMO Myx should have his mouth open on his figure because in the cartoon he is constantly running it. So I stuck with that idea, but pretty much had to grind most of the facial details off & resculpt them. His body was nowhere near finished. Basically his arms & jacket were sculpted. So I had to finish that also. It's kind of nice to go back & complete something I started so many years ago.
