I've never been happy with how my Stephanie Brown Batgirl custom turned out. It was one of my first custom projects and I've tried to save it several times over the last three years. I decided to do a completely new take on it; my first attempt used an Invisible Woman base and I used an Invisible Woman base for this one too, albeit a different (and much better) figure. I sculpted the panelling on the side of her outfit, the gauntlets and the Bat-symbol. The spikes/fins on her boots and gauntlets were cut from blister card packaging. The head was from a DCUC Batman Legacy Batgirl, with the hair and cowl repainted. The cape comes from a Batman and Robin movie Batgirl; I really love this cape. The belt was taken from an Agent Diana Prince figure, cut up and reconfigured. The belt around her thigh is from the Batman and Son Man-Bat. Thanks for looking!
I really like this figure. It's very well done. It'a interesting, I have a custom Stephanie Brown as Robin that uses the same Invisible Woman figure as a base.
Thank you! Yeah, DC totally gave Steph and Cass the shaft. I remember this thing about a splash page in Dustin Nguyen's humour comic "Lil Gotham" which had a blonde girl dressed as Batgirl in the background. DC apparently mandated that her hair be re-coloured so it didn't look like Steph. The fiends.
Very nice! All comes together really nicely. I love the use of the movie Invisible Woman. Always liked that body, for being shapely, articulated, and at a good size for a woman. She looks perfect in scale with the others. Nice work.
Thank you, and I totally agree about Invisible Woman and am glad I found and ideal use for her. She's just a little...shall we say "developed" for Steph.

I may have to put one on the batgirl that I made!
