The Riddler (Nolanverse?) (Batman - Movie Style) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:55530
Name:The Riddler (Nolanverse?)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Batman - Movie Style
Creator:DeionCustoms
Date Added:November 11, 2013
Base Figure:Marvel Legends Prof. X
Height:6.00 inches
Articulation:30 points
Marvel Legends prof. X figure + sunglasses from a ML Blade figure. Sculpted bowler hat (removable) and cane. I just wanted to add some dignity to the character, and bring the classic elements (color, "?" mark, etc.) without making him seem goofy or lame. I made this guy a long time ago, after reading some rumors that The Riddler could have some sort of "cameo" appearance on The Dark Knight Movie.

Very Neat!!, nice take on a possible movie Riddler , on that note is it me or Johnny Deep would have been perfect for the role , oh well.

This is a great look for the Riddler, very good sculpting on the bowler hat and I like the shades of purple and green you went with! Perhaps a different head might suit the character better as it still kinda looks too much like Prof X, but that's just me and this is good stuff on the whole!

Thanks JeddTheJedi. You are right, is not just you about Prof. X head. This is one of my first customs (I did it probably 5 years ago...). I wasn't skilled enough to go with certain things. The hands, for example, are awful. If I had been more skilled probably I would have sculpted hair. The guy has a removable hat, but is bald underneath, that doesn't go with the character and the look of Prof. X is so recognizable that looks out of place. If I wanted to repeat this guy, I would probably go with a movie masters figure as base, and try that the figure doesn't look like "X character painted as Y". Thanks again for your comments.

Thanks for the clarification; for something made that long ago I think this holds up very, very well and I can't wait to see your more recent work. Welcome to the Realm!
