This is a repainted and mildly customized NECA Albino Predator. He was a concept created by Sandy Collora for the 'Batman: Dead End' short film. Although you never see this guy in the actual film, there are a few photos of him on the internet. As for the mods, I added a fisted right hand in place of the factory open palm, I added left arm and leg straps based on photos of the real suit, and the shoulder cannon was added to go with Sandy's concept art. The boomerang bone pouch was taken from a NECA City Hunter, and the claw / tooth next to his belt buckle was from a Shaman predator staff. I custom built his necklace from various NECA pred trophy necklaces. Hope you guys/gals enjoy !!!

great job man, looks much closer to the source material
I was gonna have a go at making a custom one of these myself as it hadn't been released over here in the UK, but they finally sent some over here at the end of last month, so the need disappeared...

Thanks man. Believe it or not, as simple as the skin looks, it was quite painstaking with all of those spots. I actually based this custom on the ebay version of this character mixed with Sandy's design. It's not 100 percent correct, but there are so few photos, I got it as close as I could. I could have also trimmed off the dangling cloth pieces around the crotch area, but, they help hide the ball joints.

Excellent! I think the most tedious looking patterns. You should've uploaded some close ups!

Forgot to mention in my last post..if you're interested I've got a few Neca Predator figures in various states of completion that would be great fodder for your customs. I don't have the guts to do the kind of custom work you do on your predator figures. If you're interested, let me know. Cheers.

Are you planning on doing Batman and Joker from the same short film? To me, they are both perfect examples of comic-to-film character adaptations...unlike anything we've seen in the Batman movies. I love Sandy Collora...still waiting for Hunter Prey 2.

I've got this figure myself and I wasn't thrilled with NECA's paintjob. You've done an outstanding improvement.
If you're don't mind giving away some of your secrets...what brand/color paint did you use for the shoulder canon? In "Dead End" this predator has one but NECA didn't provide one with the figure. Nice job..I always enjoy the work you do with the Predator figures.

Hey, thanks for the positive comment. I agree this guy needed a major overhaul. This pred is actually not in the film believe it or not. The armor was all completely repainted. I use folk art brand paints. To achieve the armor color, I based it in black, then dry brushed in a chocolate brown, followed by a drybrush with copper, then a light dusting of silver. The reason I added the cannon was because Sandy Collora's artwork had the cannon with the design he came up with for the film.

Thanks for the tip I'm going to try it myself. I love what you did with the mark across his right eye. I was toying with the idea of painting it up better but didn't have the guts..now that I've seen yours I've got the inspiration to try it. Always enjoy your predator work. By the way...I can't wait for the Wasp Predator Neca's releasing next month from the same "movie".
If I can trouble you with one more question...is that a little bit of pink you've put on his crown and ridges? It seems to match the inside of his mandibles.

No, its actually just orange spots on top of the base white skin. I see it does look a little bit pink. I have close up photos on my facebook page. if you want to, search it out and give it a like CYCLONE_06 Customs & Artwork.
