Almost forgot about this guy. Well, along with countless others. This was a request directly following Ultraman. Still working on Superwoman, as well, hoping to have her done shortly. So, following my initial Power Ring, this is the second incarnation of the character, the counterpart to Kyle Rayner. Following this request I also fixed up the third incarnation of Power Ring to complete the set. I may put it up later. But, back to the figure at hand for now. I went with the Punisher head, giving him more of a gruff expression. I sculpted up the visor, then gave him gauntlets, trying to make sure they had the same bulk as in the picture. From there, a simple repaint. I really do think this is the best design of the three Power Ring variations, so I was glad to get a chance to fix it up.
Very Cool!! Perhaps I can bother you with a question , Do the Green Lantern Corps exist in Crime Syndicate Earth and if so are they evil too? , anyhow really this guy , Nice Work!!
Thanks mate! And the question is certainly no bother. Well, here's how I understand it. The original Power Ring got his ring from Volthoom, who in the regular continuity is the first Lantern. But, that's really the extent of his history in the Crime Syndicate world. The second and third Power Rings apparently only show up due to time alterations. First one makes the Kyle variation, another makes the John variation, and the last returns him to the original Hal variation. So, it seems to just be the one guy. Though, it would be interesting to see if the New 52 explores that world more following Forever Evil, and shows us an alternate Corps. That would be awesome.
