aka "Dang it Mattel, Part 5" I really don't have much to say on this last entry (well... last entry for now, at least. We'll see how far Mattel gets with the Burton/Schumacher movies) except that, despite all of them kinda needing new figures, Scarecrow here was what tipped me over the line. Mattel's abomination for the Dark Knight line is perhaps the most horrendous and inaccurate figure I have seen them create (and I own Midget-Sinestro). At least with the original Movie Masters figure he looks like the tail end of Begins, but that thing looks more like a scrapped 90s comic figure. I'm sorry, but I own 3.75" Sonic figures that have 11 points of articulation and have amazing sculpts in a line produced by a third party company that is best known for doing Hanna Barbera toys. Meanwhile, Mattel couldn't be bothered to make decent 4" figures for a major Batman film. It's irritating, because I'm usually pretty good at accepting figures even if they're a bit off (like the original ML White Queen) Anyway, I know technically Scarecrow's suit in TDK is a faded navy blue, but I ordered all three suits in black and I'm not repainting that entire kit to satisfy my ocd (same with Two Face and the dark gray suit). ![]() |
