First of sorry for the bad pics,my camera is super old. Finally I have finished my Snake Eyes. All pouches are apoxie from molds I have made from other figures. His straps are from Mr.Sinister.Sword and sheath are from a Samurai Jack figure, gun from fodder bin.I sculpted the visor and covered mouth with apoxie.I've seen a lot of not all black snake eyes and wanted something like that so I mixed 4 different colors of blue+black to get the shade I liked. Then drybrushed and clearcoated.Still has all articulataion.I had to brighten pictures in photoshop because the pictures were to dark do see drybrushing effect. But I didn't alter the figure in photoshop.long ammo pouch in front covers where strap would be, but he wouldn't be able to flex up and down.so its actually not there, but looks like it is,same in the back. Please let me know what you guys think,as I would like to hear it.More customs coming soon!

Just wanted to say thanks for those of you who liked my snake eyes and commented on it.Yeah he is over done but this was my first.I think he is done so much because he has no figure this big(I think).I also think deadpool is done so much because he is so rare.I'm suprised with so many variations of him no one made a female version before I did.One of you asked was this figure black, the answer is no.I painted him black then drybrushed the blue.also people were asking about paint rub at joints,I havent had any trouble with that on any of my figures.(I have a lot more unfinished)

I've been looking for deadeye samurai myself! hey, that is a great snake eyes. I finally did one last month, but haven't posted any photos yet. but it was probably my first and last one...lol! I can't say for people to quit making a certain character. there are new customizers all the time who do their first wolverine or batman, or favorite character and somebody who's been around the block a time or two has already seen them all many times over and I think a lot of people just do the most popular custom of the day. we should take a guess and see who will be the most popular character done this year. somebody should add up who was the most customized character last year, not including the contests

Punkninjaman, this is really a great looking custom! The base figure wasn't black, was it? I'm assuming you had to paint the entire thing to get the final results, correct?
Mainly the elbows and knees.
The sanding bit sounds interesting-- If I understand correctly, the idea is to slightly reduce the size of the parts so that when they go back together, they don't rub together so much? My only concern with this is that I'll end up with floppy legs and arms.

Dedi is MIA. I wonder what happened. Yeah I am kinda sick of Snake Eyes. The dead eyes sounds like an awesome idea - Kyle , get on that!

I think this is an excellent snake eyes figure. and yes the joints are wonderfully done. great job!! as for that wrestling match, I think deadpools healing factor and the fact that he can survive getting his head chopped off would be a huge problem for snake eyes. they both would probably be on the same field of fighting skill, but deadpools healing would probe him I think the victor, unless snake eyes did something pretty drastic. and I love seeing all the deadpool and snake eye customs. good job to everyone who has created either of these awesome characters, mabey one day we could see an amalgam of the two of them, DEAD EYES. sounds like a member of this site I used to know? haven't seen him in a while. Ramble on.

Very nice job, man, on both the sculpting and the paint job! I've been trying to perfect my figure painting skills for a while, but I always end up running into problems when it comes to the joints. How did you manage to successfully paint your figure without hampering articulation?

great custom however I prose that we all take a vote on a fake wrestling match snake eyes vs deadpool and whoever wins can be made a custom the other one needs to stop being made!??@!
