My mother like most of the walking dead tv series female viewers love Daryl and with christmas coming i wanted to make her a one of a kind daryl gift. so i drew up a bunch of different concept art but the wife made the final call on the design. I used super sculpy to sculpt the entire figure from scratch including his infamous cross bow which was multiple parts sculpted and glued together. his hair took the longest i wanted to keep to the animated style with some realism in it so i cut tons of strips of sculpy and added them to style his season 4 long hair . once his head was sculpted and baked i sculpted a simple upper torse so once baked i sculpted the sleeveless shirt over top. i then sculpted his lower body , boots, arms, and some accessories including his knife and extra arrow which was made from a tooth pick and sculpy. once he was completed i base coated him with chaos black paint then dry brushed all the detail including the angel wings on his shirt. I finally sculpted a base for him and painted. in all i love how he came out cant cant wait to see my mom flip. but most of all i hope you all enjoy this to. And as always thank you for looking.
