For this custom I found 1 of my old Batman toys and got to work. I drew web designs on red sticky lables and stuck them on the mouth, shoulders, and lower abdomen areas of the figure. Then I stuck a clear red Kre-O piece on his right arm as a stun weapon. I also twisted a white twistum and I put that in his hand. In his left hand I put a red Battleship piece to represent a "web-pellet" which is a combo. of smoke pellets and web-shooters.
BACKSTORY: While Batman (defender of Gotham) was stopping the robbery of a science lab in Manhattin he got bitten by a radioactive spider. He realized his strength, speed and agility have been enhanced. He also aquired a wall crawling ability and the ability to sense danger. He upgraded his costume and weapons and became Spider-Bat.
For me, combining Spider-man and Batman brings back fond memories of the Spider-man/Batman boss in the original version of Revenge of Shinobi for the Sega Genesis (there was trouble once their respective comic book company owners got wind of it though--Marvel let them keep Spider-man in the game, provided they put a Marvel copyright notice at boot-up, which they did, but DC cried foul, and Sega had to change Batman into a more demonic bat creature).
I think your costume design could have used some more Spider-man elements, as it still reads Batman pretty strongly. I like that you tried to combine Batman's arsenal with Spider-man's web tricks, but I think you could have customized the stun gun and web-pellet a bit more, even if only with a bit of paint (or some home-made decals like you did with the Spider-man parts of the costume), to make them appear more like distinct items rather than unmodified pieces.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
