For the uninitiated: Gorr, who lives a wretched life and feels slighted by his gods comes into possession of the Necrosword known as All Black, the Slicer of Worlds. He proceeds to travel throughout all of creation to slay every god. He eventually runs into our favorite Thunder God and the fireworks begin. In the greatest Marvel team-up ever to hit the Nine Realms, the Thor we know presently as the favorite Son of Asgard joins forces with his much younger self and his much older self to lay down some serious hammer time on the God Butcher, Gorr. Well, as for the recipe, I pulled a Dr Doom on a Marvel Select Dr Doom figure and fused the waist, legs and most of the left arm to a John Cena torso and right arm. Added a DC Mc Guiness Aquaman head with the hair and beard painted white and added the eye patch with Apoxie Sculpt. Sculpted the body armor with Apoxie and painted it with Tamiya colors. Pinched the red cape from a Lord Thor of Asgard. Made the waist garments out of foam sheet and used craft store cord to make the wrist straps and those across the chest and waist. Mjolnir was courtesy of The Lord Thor figure, also. Noticeably missing here is the younger, brasher Thor, who is no doubt off cavorting with nubile maidens on Midgard while slaking his thirst with barrels of crudely crafted Mead. Oh, to be a young Thunder God on Ancient Midgard: hanging with the young honeys and drinking that honey brew.
Thank you all for your comments. I had fun making this old fart version of Thor. Loved the God Butcher story arc and was trying like heck to figure how I could make myself a custom of the older Thor. Now I will work on the younger version to complete my three pronged attack team.

Excellent rendition of Thor in his twilight years, particularly the work on his armor. I've never read those particular stories, but the premise definitely sounds interesting. It's good that you chose a different look for your Thor, as that sets him apart from the other Thor entries in this challenge. I keep thinking of old Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4 when I look at the head sculpt--must be the eyepatch. For an armored figure, and Thor in particular, his build strikes me as being rather slim, although, one could argue that, in his old age, Thor has become somewhat emaciated/frail compared to how he was in his prime, and, in that sense, it works.
In Norse mythology, alas, Thor never gets to see old age (or, at least what passes for it when you're immortal), as he's slain by the Midgardsormr at Ragnarok.
Really like the concept , very unused and cool , plus this is one the best uses o a Doom base fig and the Aquaman head fits perfectly for the character , I found myself liking this Awesome Work a lot , NICE!!!
