Have you ever started with an idea for a custom and ended doing something else , well that's the story with this guy , I got a Bandai Deluxe Red Power Ranger for customizing (had several ideas) but the one I liked the best was to give a lion armor using a LEGO Legends of Chima Ultrabuild Laval lion model , the thing is while I was trying to see how fit to the figure I notice 2 things , 1: the White Ranger ,that I had done some basic changes and was in collection for a while now ,was a better color match than the Red and 2: to glue the parts would be a mistake , so I went for a rather simple solution (and please don't judge me as lazy because of it) "RUBBER BANDS" , they actually work great , they hold the figure in place and keep an amazing level of articulation , plus if I want to make any changes or mods is easy , yes I know they exactly look nice ,but I can live with it , considering the final overall look is quite cool and was very fun to make , hope you all like this little fun project , Thanks!.
Thanks man , the White Ranger was the former Green Ranger from the 1st series , however the lion armor was something I add to him on my own , since they keep morphing and using animal mech , it fit nicely and kinda make sense to the character.
Sometimes the easiest solutions are the ones that works better. May I suggest to use translucent rubber bands? they are so easy to find and comes in packages with 50/100 pieces with a very low price.
