This one had to be done after seeing the new Marvel Select Venom .. for years my collection had the ToyBiz ML Spiderman Classics Symbiote Blast Venom in it, which I thought was a perfect Venom til I saw the MS version... the Marvel Select version looked great over-all but it was alittle too skinny for Venom compared to the ML version so to make a long story short I just combined the best of both world(ML & MS)... the best thing about the Marvel Select Venom is his heads, torso & hands and the best thing about the ML Venom is his legs, biceps & fore-arms.. everything just come together perfectly ... I think this muscle bound version of the Marvel Select Venom looks way better than the original, in my opinion ...Enjoy
This is Awesome. I'd really like to do this myself and I just had a few questions: 1. Did you remove the arms at the shoulders or above the biceps? 2. Did you remove the legs at the ball joints or top of the thighs? 3. Did you have to do anything to get the joints to fit? Thanks, I'd love to make this guy too cause it looks so much better than the original of either. Great Work!!
Ok, so I just gave it a shot, and literally just finished this guy. Looks amazing, and capture the exact look I like for Venom. Thank you for the superb figure and idea!
I removed the arms at the bicep joints and the ML Venem's biceps fitted on the MS Venom's shoulder pegs pretty good without doing anything but I used a trick with plastic coated metal paper clips to make sure they stay connected and have full movement ... and for the the legs I simply cut the waist joint and glued it on the MS Venom torso ... I had to paint the bottom part of the spider symbol on the ML Venom crotch to make it match. So all the joints except the waist still moves.... Enjoy
Yeah..I made a Toxin but its more of a super up-graded version of the ToyBiz ML Spiderman Classics Toxin figure look... again I used both ML & MS parts but I like the classic red & black Toxin look instead of the all red Venom look ... check it out its posted on here.
I really love what you have done here bro, I love the time and effort you really put into your customs. I agree eith you on tje MS way too scrawny, I too did the same thing with my MS Venom.
