Always searching for a "perfect" Venom figure I decided to try my hand at one. The Marvel Legends Hyperion base figure is surprisingly poseable and after adding the lower legs of Scorpion Venom and modding the arms to accept the interchangeable hands of Marvel Select Venom this figure was underway! For the Spider on Venom's chest I used a sticker maker to get the size of the symbol how I wanted it, then sculpted over top of it using Ave's Fix-it sculpt. Finally, ordered a cast sinister six Venom head and resculpted the eyes.
Painted with Testors semi-gloss black, Citadel skull white, and drybrushed with Tamiya medium grey.
Thank you very much. Hyperion just had a surprising amount of articulation and at the time I was working on a Spidey custom and thought "I could use a good Venom for him to fight"
