This figure is the first one in a series of four in continuation of figures I've made based on my movie script The Descendents. This is the Vampire Melina. She is the first wife of Dracula and Queen of the Damned. She stabs Dracula in the back by letting Gerad and his brother kill him. She then become Gerads bride. She is later killed by her new love when he devises a plan to make Kyra Helsing his new bride.
This figure was made by using a NECA queen figure and painting her dress red. I then removed part of the dress to show off some of her other assets. I then tinted the hair and painted her eyes over to look cateracted and then gave her accessories and a display base. not much was done for this custom but I think she looks great.
I haven't tried it yet but the plan is to put magnets into the square blocks the clothing pegs used to fit into and put another one on the clothing. Taking the clothes off to me is the only way to get a really good paint job without marring the figure (my hands arent' very steady).
sorry to hear that man, most likely, her loss and that IS funny, why add so much detale to parts of a figure that no one's very likely to see, makes no sense
Probably not since we broke up yesterday lol. It struck me as funny when I removed the clothing to paint it seperately to find out they detailed the chest even though you can't see it. Sorta like my Playarts Tifa where they did more detail work on the panties than the actual figure.
she's a great figure if you don't mind next to no articulation. I'm using her to make a figure of my girlfriend. I didn't mention to my gf that her top's removable and they detailed that area when making teh figure lol.
yeah well I am curious after seeing the fig to see what the movie is and even with out the articulation, its a cool figure. it looks l ike whoever made it used a queen gorgo as a base
You didn't miss much movie wise. I'm glad I'm not hte only one who bought this figure to customize, sadly the lack of articulation is a pain in the butt. Oh on an added note if you take her top off they put some extra details you don't see otherwise
