Removed the wolf cape and filled in Conans back. Cut the 2 pins off of the cape. Airbrushed at least 7 layers of flesh tone to acount for the fleshy pink skin tone of the Conan by Marvel Comics. Used a Loin cloth from a Mego Conan & Retouched the accessories and such. Compare the different for yourself!
Thanks guys! Anyone that knows me knows my true preference is Tamiya, but in cases like this where Tamiya just don't have enough mixing choices I use Model Master Acryl. there is no real color for this I mix all my flesh tones. Model Master has 4 different base tones to mix whatever flesh tone you want.
Great paint job. What type of paint did you use? I am also a Conan fan and have posted some figures in this site. Your custom improves dramatically what the toy company "tried to do". If you are a fan of Conan keep an eye out for the figures coming out of Sideshow collectibles latter this year, maybe, finally a company will do justice to this character.
