ive wanted to make this version of spawn ever since i started customizing as i loved this comic book series and always loved this look for spawn.i combined several wwe figures and did a solid black paint for the body and finished with several layers of dry brush to get the dead dried out rotting effect for the skin.i sculpted the gauntlets and shin guards,added nails for the spikes,then did a black base coat,then a dry brush silver for the worn metal effect. the head is a repainted spawn bloodaxe which is a near perfect match for this version of lord covenant.the sword,sheath,and belt all came from another spawn the dark ages figure just repainted to match. at last i made the scale mail pieces by punching out holes in plastic,glued into place,then finished with the same black,silver dry brush technique. i added some cut fabric for the loin cloth and arm bands and this hellspawn was ready to take on malebogia himself! as always this custom was tons of fun to build and i hope u all enjoy looking. p.s. i almost forgot i painted the trademark m logo front and back using tamaya masking tape and a light grey dry brush. once again i hope u all enjoy.
