I love Marvel's WW2-era comics. Sooner or later I had to make a Peggy Carter. Hasbro never gave us a movie version, and I tend to like comic versions on my shelf anyway. In the comics, Peggy Carter was a member of the French Resistance and was known as Agent 13. As Peggy Carter, she first appeared in Tales of Suspense in 1966, but Agent 13 appeared (call it a retcon) in Captain America #1 disguised as the old shopkeeper who let Steve Rogers enter the secret super soldier laboratory. Via retcon, she is easily one of Marvel's oldest characters. She has been depicted as both a brunette and a dishwater blonde, but we can chalk this up to disguises or to her being a woman. I chose brunette as a nod to Haley Atwell, the actress who plays her in the Captain America movie(s). This figure was made for a "no paint kitbash recipe" challenge - so no painting was required. Recipe: Indiana Jones jacket, arms, and gunbelt Any bare female hands (mine are from Marion Ravenwood) MU Black Widow (Light Up Base) torso Ms. Marvel's scarf A skirt from Star Wars figure Camie Loneozner MU Medusa's legs MU X-23's shins, feet, and boots a machine gun from fodder beret from Retaliation Flint and Jaina Solo's head Star Wars collectors, please don't hate me for Jaina's head. I found it for sale loose on eBay over a year ago, and it was cheap, but I never had the figure. ![]() |
