5th and FINAL member of my Original All-New X-Men squad... Iceman! Hasbro chumped out by using an old HML Vision/Surfer base body for the Iceman in the TRU set; not necessarily a bad body, but outdated and really not a good look for Bobby. Whenever I think of the original 5, the puffy looking snowman with boots is the image in my head, and that was the look I wanted for my set. I knew Iceman could be done a lot of different ways, but I decided to play it loose and fun to try capturing the snowman look. A TON of white high-temp hot glue went onto the Banshee base body. In order to make his head not look gargantuan once it was glued up, I ended up using an old TBML Mystique head with the hair ripped off. Despite being almost completely covered, he still retains all of his articulation, and I'm happy that he looks like either a drippy snowman or a white Pizza the Hutt from Spaceballs. To me, my X-Men!! =)
