mattel gave us a lot of Timmverse characters that we thought we would never see in plastic. Too bad they dropped the ball with most of them & used cheap plastic/rubber to make the figure, painted on details instead of sculpting them, or just used the entirely wrong buck because they already had it tooled & it was the cheap way out. Firefly was one of those figures. Was so glad I bought the cast from Stew's customs. So I thought it was time to take care of another figure that used the same crappy buck that mattel botched up. The Weather Wizard.....

I sculpted over a mattel Twoface body. Switched hands, sculpted the gloves, boots, collar & belt. I felt the Twoface body is kind of large so I cut it in half & took out some of the body to make him shorter. I was sculpting over most of his upper body anyway so it was an easy fix to hide. One thing that I did think mattel surprisingly did a good job with was the head sculpt. So I decided to use that head. I was undecided on painting the eyes on his goggles since I wasn't sure if it would look right. Still not sure if it looks alright being painted on top the googles or not?
