Hello figure realmers! First of all I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for this entry of mine during the "Package Deal" custom contest. It won first place thanks to your votes! I really appreciate it when fellow realmers like my customs of characters who aren't as popular as some of the other ones out there. Here’s one of my favorite Marvel characters, Marc Spector: Moon Knight based on the first two volumes of his own comic book series (the last pic shows issue #1’s of both). Moon Knight is a crime fighter with different secret identities and is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat. Aside from having multiple personas, I think what makes his stories great are his team of supporting characters and villains. Marlene is his beautiful girlfriend who has occasionally helped to spy and get information for him. Frenchie is his loyal friend who pilots the “Mooncopter” vehicle that Moon Knight drops out of the sky from, and picks him up when he needs to get away. His nemesis Raoul Bushman is a villain connected to Marc Spector’s past. Bushman tried to kill Spector, which eventually led to his becoming the Moon Knight. FIGURE: Moon Knight - Namor with sculpted chest symbol and painted silver Head – Steve Rogers with hair and eyebrows painted brown Removable hood and cape – Dr. Doom with some sculpting and painted silver, it's hollow and fits directly on top of the figure's head Display base for hood, belt and crescent weapons – made from a few clear plastic containers and a Batman torso. The belt is a modified Namor belt. The crescents and statue of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu came from Marvel Select Moon Knight. OTHER FIGURES: Marlene – Black Widow body, Sharon Carter head, painted her body suit dark blue just like what she wore in the comics Frenchie – Gerry Lane body, Tony Stark head, hat from M. Bison, painted flesh, brown, light brown, black and white to resemble his outfit from later issues of the comics Bushman – Papa Shango with vest from Randy Orton, painted black, red and brown PACKAGE: Box - Marvel Legends Dr. Doom Images - from 3 different Moon Knight comic covers Four illustrations of Moon Knight by artists Bill Sienkiewicz, Sal Velluto, Stephen Platt, plus an original black and white image were merged together and printed for the box art. Finally, the following character bio is my own original composition that I wrote to add to the custom package. This is exactly what’s printed on the back to describe who he is. --------------------------------- Soldier of fortune Fortunate rich man Man of the streets Street fighting vigilante Four phases of one man Mercenary Marc Spector died, but was miraculously reborn within the Temple of Khonshu, ancient Egyptian moon god. He vowed to atone for past sins by bringing evil men to justice and started a new life assuming different identities. As millionaire Steven Grant, his mansion hides a high-tech base of operations. As cab driver Jake Lockley, he maintains a network of streetwise informants. He dons a shroud symbolically becoming the Moon’s Knight of Vengeance to battle the criminal underworld. In the war against all dark forces, the tide will turn. For the moon that controls the tides is the light over darkness. ![]() |
