I always loved the look of Marvels Taskmaster when I was younger. But there never seemed to be any good action figures that made him justice. After watching a lot of Anthony´s Customs videos on Youtube I had an idea. Maybe I could give it a try. I liked painting Warhammer 40k figures when I was younger (like 15 years ago) and maybe this would be a fun experience.

I collect Masters of the Universe Classics and I wanted this figure to fit in my collection so I knew from the start that I had to use a MOTUC body. These are the parts I used for this figure:

# Masters of the Universe Classics Snout Spout body - sprayed with Citadel black, painted with Citadel Abaddon Black, dry-brushed with Kantor Blue. Gloves and Boots sprayed with Citadel White and painted with Citadel White Scar. The orange on the arms and cape is Citadel Jokaero Orange and dry-brushed with Troll Slayer Orange.

# The sword is from Masters of the Universe Classics Chief Carnivus - had to cut it so it no longer looked like a saber but more like a Taskmaster-sword. Sprayed with Citadel White, painted with Citadel Mithril Silver, Auric Armour Gold, Troll Slayer Orange, White Scar, Gorthor Brown and Kantor Blue.

# The leather straps on his chest, the leg-holster on his right leg and gun and his belt (without the packs and bottle) are all from the Hot Toys Expendables 2 Barney Ross-figure. Found them cheap on Ebay and painted them with Gorthor Brown, Auric Armour Gold and dry-brushed with Abaddon Black.

# The Shield is from an chinese import Captain America figure. I got it from Ebay. Had to use some sandpaper and make it all smooth before spraying with Citadel White, painting with Citadel Kantor Blue, Troll Slayer Orange and White Scar.

# The head is actually two parts - The face is from Masters of the Universe Classics Skeletor, cut out and then fitted into Masters of the Universe Classics Ditztroyer (one of the Fighting Foe Men). The cape is also from Ditztroyer. All sprayed with Citadel White and painted with Citadel White Scar, Abaddon Black, Jokaero Orange and Troll Slayer Orange.

# The Staff is also from Ditztroyer, but I cut of the sun-looking thing and painted it with Mithril Silver and dry-brushed with Abaddon Black.

# Bags and Bottle on the belt are also from the chinese import Captain America figure. Sprayed Black and painted with Gorthor Brown and dry-brushed with Abaddon Black. Details painted with Auric Armour Gold.

# The ammo-strap on the left leg is from....I really don´t know. Found it in a weapons-lot on Ebay. Painted with same colors as the rest.

# The Sword-Sheet is custom made by cutting and gluing different bits of soft plastic together.

I had a really nice time doing this Taskmaster and I think it´s pretty ok since it´s my first shot at it. I want to thank Anthony´s Customs and his fantastic Youtube-videos since they really made me give this a shot.

So, I really hope you guys like it. And if you don´t, let me know what I could do better the next time around. But have in mind that it´s my first one :)
