1-28-08 Nightcrawler

Hello all, this is my version of Nightcrawler. I didn't really like the ML version's head, although I think the body is awesome with a lot of articulation. I just wanted something a little bit different for the head, a bit darker or angrier. I had a variant bullseye head laying around and thought it might work. Dremelled down the top and back of head as well as the chin to make it look a bit smaller. Bullseye's head is a bit big. After I finished that, I worked on sculpting his hair. I knew what I wanted and I also knew what I capable of doing. Unfortunately those weren't the same thing, lol. But what turned out wasn't all that bad. Finished with an X on the chest and went to the paint. I thought about tweaking the color scheme, red gloves and shoes, but it didn't look all that good. So just drybrushed the body sectoin all red and kept the gloves and feet white. Nothing super special or all that hard to do, but gave me a chance to work on my hair sculpting skills.

Also, I've been wondering why is it that there are these customs with a ? and no pictures. Anyone have any clue? Do they add the pics later? Maybe it's just me. Oh well, thanks for looking.
